The Black History 4 Schools website provides access to a wide range of learning resources about the lived experience of black and Asian peoples during the era of transatlantic enslavement, indentureship and also throughout the 18th-20th centuries. Articles include topics such as diversity and citizenship, 'race', ethnicity and archaeology of the Atlantic slave trade, mainstreaming black and Asian British history, etc.
Resources are divided into time periods and provide teachers with lesson plans, images, student worksheets and class activities to help teachers encourage students to understand, examine and critically analyze events in black history. This site lists over 60 weblinks for teachers to use as additional resources relating to black history.
