This DVD looks at the following 5 aspects of anti-racism education:
- Why we need to do work on Racism
- No place like home
- Less than human
- This thing we call ‘race'
- What can we do about it
The DVD is supported by a peer education work book that can be used to train peer educators on the sections above. The booklet is easy to use and equips the learner with all the relevant information on racism, belonging, settlement, history, identity, human genome programme etc, to deliver to their peers.
The Educators' notes also support the DVD, based on the film, they include more ‘in depth' analysis and info than the Peer Educators book, along with relevance to Curriculum areas, suggested resources etc.
