Cornucopia is an online database of information about more than 6000 collections in the UK's museums, galleries, archives and libraries. The site was developed by the Museums, libraries and Archives Council (MLA) to provide a one-stop-shop for teachers and other educators when seeking to incorporate visits to heritage collections into programmes of study for children and young people. Currently the site contains 32 resources and services relating to identity - including family, local and social history, art work and library-based resources. In addition, the online database has a dedicated section relating to resources about cultural diversity - including art work collections from all over the world, photographic collections, resources about the histories, cultures and lived experiences of African, Caribbean, Chinese and South Asian people in Britain and local and social history.
