Ireland in Schools: Making Learning Fun and Challenging

Ireland in Schools (IiS) is a national network of volunteers providing free teaching and learning resources for primary and secondary schools in Britain. The aim of IiS is to make Ireland, its histories and the lived experiences of Irish peoples an integral aspect of the National Curriculum taught in UK schools. The website aims to contribute towards the teaching of citizenship, history, mutual understanding and ethnic & cultural diversity by supplying ideas to create an Irish dimension within a range of subject areas.  Study units and single lesson plans are provided with accompanying PDFs or multimedia resources which are free to download.  There are also other useful links to other resources and websites.
