"If we want to see young people play an active role in their community and voice their opinions on matters that affect them, we must give them the chance to experience democracy in action.
That's why we've worked with the Association for Citizenship Teaching, Citizenship Foundation, Historical Association and Royal Geographical Society (With IBG) to develop resources and support for schools for 'Who Do We Think We Are?' Week, providing young people with the opportunity to discuss issues around diversity, identity and citizenship and explore how these values ca be applied to their school, the wider community, and across the country".
