The SSAT Cultural Diversity Quality Standard recognises and celebrates the excellent work done by many schools to promote cultural diversity, race equality and opportunities for achievement of all students.

The award is available to all schools, both Primary and Secondary, and provides clear aspirations for both multicultural schools and those where a lack of awareness needs to be tackled to ensure that all children can make a positive contribution to the wider community in the longer term.

Events to launch the Quality Standard to schools were held in Birmingham, Plymouth and London in 2007 and more are being planned for 2008. 

The Quality Standard package includes ongoing access to the online evidence file and updated materials from other schools, including case studies and resources. The cost is £995 for a single school and reduced rates for groups of schools and local authorities are also available - prices on application.
